1. What is it?
Oxygenation is a procedure used to brighten teeth. It is very effective for whitening teeth darkened by age or stained by coffee, tea, red wine, colas, snuff, etc..

It is not as effective for whitening teeth were stained by use of some medications such as tetracycline or fluorosis. There are two general ways to perform the whitening: in the dental clinic and at home.

2. In the consultation
The dentist applied over the surface of the tooth whitening substance (carbamide peroxide, hydrogen peroxide, silica dioxide …) that is activated by the halogen light.
