Brush your teeth gently. Do not crush the bristles because that means you are brushing too hard.

Replace your toothbrush every two to three months or as soon as the bristles are worn or bent. A worn toothbrush does not clean teeth properly and may damage your gums. You should also replace your toothbrush after suffering a cold.

Make sure you clean each tooth. The toothbrush can clean only one or two teeth at the same time, so much to move it throughout the mouth.

Avoid using hard bristled toothbrushes because they can harm the gums. Use a soft toothbrush with rounded bristle tips.
